Sea-going
trailing suction hopper dredgers with shipborne dradging
suction pipes are designed to carry out dradging work in
approach channels to ports and unprotected water areas.
Discharge at dump is made through hopper's bottom doors.
Each pair of doors is actuated by a separate hydraulic
cylinder.
Provisions are made for unloading hopper by means of
discharging mud ashore through coupling device over the
mud-carrying pipeline.
Suction dredgers are equipped with up-to-date
technological systems for carrying out and control of
dredging work.
